- Steve Shelton to perform a few tunes at the special 75th Anniversary Santa Barbara Junior High School this Saturday, March 8 at 2:00 in The Marjorie Luke Theater, No charge. Headliner at 3:30 will be Los Angeles based band VAJRA, featuring SBJH alums Josh Shelton, Peter Mendel, and Jon Willis.

Angry Vegan Records releases A Fool's Hearty Wisdom, the new recording by Steve Shelton and the Jack Ball Trio (give or take a couple guys). Steve is joined on this recording once again by Wayne Peet on piano and Hammond B3, Tom Lackner on drums, Roberto Miranda on acoustic bass, and special guest, Josh Shelton, on trumpet. This newest CD represents a few new directions, as well as some familiar paths leading to new places. In some cases, an old tune is pulled (culled) from the archives, while in other instances an old direction is redirected. |
